1st Child Rajasekhar humble beginning in the year of 2005 Separate premise for boys and girls were rented. Home had to be shifted 8 times due to various hurdles and issues faced.
Foundation began it’s first community work activity at the Tsunami site, Uyyali kuppam, Kalpakkam Feeding the stranded kids who lost their parents in Tsunami. Involving the locals into various activities to re-build their confidence and mainstream living. Counselling the affected families to get them back to normal living. 26 kids were brought to Chennai to provide them shelter and education.
On 1st Jan 2014 Boys moved into the own premise of Charis International Missions. 1st Floor for boys were constructed in the year 2015. Separate home for Girls were constructed in the year 2017. First floor of the Girls home was constructed in the year 2018. Guest facility, staff rooms & additional dormitories were constructed in the year 2021.
